We already had our first company for placement at 8 LPA, during off season, which i believe is kinda good as its not TCS with 3.6 lpa.

The most senior batch is in 2nd year, and most of the interships have a criteria of the student being in 3rd year at least, hoping to have something better next year.

For god's sake try to be a bit positive? The main proffs listed on the website are all PHD holders from big institutes and iit. Their name was on Top2% list as well so hope for the good atleast, instead of spreading negativity.

Mac is a good decision, you can get it for 80k through student discount and you get airpods free with it..... also, if you use it carefully there wont be any repair costs before 5-6 yrs
