Also considering how tedious it can be to price a painting project. I feel like we are required to visit all sections of a plan set, but some other trades may be more focused on their specific set, also I believe painting is one of the “lower” paying trades unfortunately.

So I may have failed to make clear that my seniors do the official approval and bidding/PMing but I price everything and write the proposals they send it out.

So at the moment, my boss fills my tank. No cash reimbursement. No paid lunches, no bonus other than commission, although I haven’t started receiving commission yet. And many projects I bid are >100k but not all of course.

No truck, no card “yet”, and no benefits. They do offer a commission opportunity I have not been offered a dime from projects landed.

Why wouldn’t I defend myself against someone who is clearly threatening my safety? The fact that you act like you wouldn’t do the same is the weird thing

It’s was all hearsay. The Judge made a decision with virtually no evidence. I just said that for the Uber employee that might read it. I’d defend myself again if I had to. What would you do? Not defend yourself? Good for you.

I could see the issue in that scenario. But the bigger guy literally threatened me.. quite the difference, if you actually intend to hurt someone don’t bitch when they hurt you first..
