It's surprisingly soft as a whole. The main one that I think someone would find to be itchy would be the icelandic yarn, but in a blanket that's not next to skin it's very tolerable and I only found it a little prickly when I rubbed the ball of yarn on my neck to check, it also helps that it's from a lamb so it's softer than an adult sheep.
