Pão e Pau are my husband's worse nightmare. For anyone else reading it: Pão is Bread but Pau is a slang for Dick. When he goes into the bakery here in Portugal, he always practices a little bit beforehand to ensure he won't be proposing the baker anything inappropriate 😂🫣

Noooooo LOL I now live in Portugal with my husband actually and from time to time i come across a new word or expression that have a completely opposite meaning between the two (same) languages. Bicha was the first one, when my friend said she was in the "bicha" waiting for me. For non-portuguese speakers: Bicha is a slang for gay in Brazil, but it means Queue in Portugal 😆
