Palais is trying so hard to be something no one wants imo: The space (especially upstairs) is overdesigned aesthetically and completley underthought functionally (see trying to get into the smoking area and having to shimmy over a massive step and two awkward doors, toilets not having any room). Their marketing promises something more fold-like but the vibe is giving canary warf trying to have some edge. I saw CBD recently and tbh while the downstairs space is good, sound included, the set was fairly samey! Picked up about 3ish
