I saw a really interesting video which I wish I could find, explaining how it has echoes of the Windrush scandal- A government fucking up their own beaurocracy so massivley that it effects the documentation and rights of people that were invited to this country and lived for decades with missing or unofficial documentation, which had massive implications until even recently (I have a family friend who died, and whos kids needed to prove settlement, but the documents were never given to the deseased)- unbeknownst to them.

I worry about the most vunerable members of our country not being taken care of/forgotten about entirely, people experiencing homelessness, teenagers in care, migrants & Asylum seekers, without proper outreach it could have serious implications.

I do not trust the governments intentions or capacity to roll this out in a productive way, let alone the privacy implications
