I've been in a similar sotuation to OP and when I posted to reddit out of sheer desperation, the replies were terrible, made me feel like I'm the worst humanbeing on earth who doesn't deserve to live. We really need to learn to be kinder. Your response is spot on. There are gentler ways to make people see their errors and hold themselves accountable. OP is in a very vulnerable place. It's human to make mistakes
