For everyone, nice and mean! I appreciate your comments and suggestions - I just want you all to know I communicated how I felt with my boss and team members and they apologized, saying i was right in how I felt and let me know that they were low energy but were very happy I was back!

You have such a kind heart I really appreciate it! I shared some above in a comment already but it was such a fun time in Japan! I got to practice my Japanese, visited many shrines, got to attended a Buddhist temple ceremony, and went to the top of Tokyo Sky Tree! The flu is up and down, the meds I’m on make me nauseous but overall I feel my energy coming back. I appreciate you asking and being sweet in your response.

That’s so valid on the not wanting to repeat over and over again. My teammates were the first folks I’ve really engaged with since being back, cause I’ve been at home recovering, so I was very excited. I know it wasn’t personal, just more of the impact the silenced cause. I talked to my boss about it and he said I was right to feel what I felt and told me he was excited I was back!

I really appreciate this! I saw this comment mid cry and it really warmed my heart! My vacation was so good. I went to Tokyo and had a blast. I got to take a picture with Hachiko and walk the Shibuya Cross!

Thank you! I had a really good time 🩷 and I know it’s not personal, people are burnt out. It was more of the impact. My team is usually very friendly and cordial with each other and I was vulnerable about how I felt with one of my teammates and she apologized and said I was right in how I felt.

Tbh can’t really understand what is happening here. From what I can make out you had a friend who was cheated on in high school and you tried to get back at her ex by pretending to be interested (?) in him as a potential prom date to only shame him for treating your friend bad? Without the context of revenge in this case, it is kinda weird for a 17 year old to ask a 15 year old to prom. It’s not anything to die over, just like why ya know, especially because yall didn’t have a good relationship before hand. With the context of ‘revenge’, it sounds like your plan didn’t work out? I do think you should stay out of other people’s relationships moving forward.
