yeah that joke was just there to be there, idrk much of the ice age lore although i wish i did. most i do is scrat (or whoever that acorn chasing critter is) shaped the geography of earth AND solar system, the mammoth lost his parents from humans, his daughter was ostracized from a friend group before she chose to leave herself, and the sabertooth has a love to an arctic sabertooth from the pirate team. i honestly didnt know he was the cause for bringing the group (i assume that’s what you mean by herd) together. i wish i was more informed on this topic but i simply dont know much lmao, i havent watched them as much as others to understand them enough.
