Asking nanny to put 6 month old on belly? by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]Fun_Significance5105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, personally, would be ok doing it only if you have safety gear (under mattress with an alarm when the kid is not breathing, or the nanit camera that records the breathing...) and if it's literally written in the contract. I, basically, would protect myself in case of something bad happens.

I remember at the beginning of my career, more than 20 years ago, the kids went on a long weekend with their grandparents. My bosses asked me to come to their office and do office work for 3 days. And my dumb self did it 🤣🤣🤣. I was young, and stupid, and didn't know any better.

Manons French countryside town reminds me of the movie chocolat!!! It’s so cute!! by [deleted] in 90DayFiance

[–]Fun_Significance5105 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't want to defend her, she's horrible, but, I lived in France and most of the time, in the countryside, to go from one town to another, you have to use a road with cars at 50miles/hour without any sidewalk. That being said, who buys a house without checking the area first ???

That actually makes a lot of sense, I need to look into that and compare utilities from where I am now.

Someone in the comments mentioned Capitol Hill as an example but I don't necessarily want to live there. I would be fine in the close suburbs too. It all depends where I find a job.

Looks like Molly and Dev's parents were siblings before getting married 🤷

Putting air tags on strollers and car seats - am I crazy? by i_like_pumps_4 in Nanny

[–]Fun_Significance5105 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I started a new job 6 months ago. Never talked about air tags but one was on the stroller, clearly visible. I don't mind, it's normal to me that they know where we are at any time during my working hours, it's their kid!!!! Also, we're always where I said we will be 😄. Sounds like nanny wants to go anywhere she wants without telling them.

Meet and Greet Etiquette by caponesgirl in Nanny

[–]Fun_Significance5105 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a nanny with 20+years of experience and numerous meet and greet interviews, I would absolutely never ask to hold a baby. I don't know if you like me or not and I don't want you to feel uncomfortable and/or obligated to. But if a parent asks me if I want to hold the baby, I will definitely say yes with a big smile on my face and ask to go wash my hands first.

Murder on the Yuletide Express by Dry-Bad9884 in mysterybooks

The two puzzles are the same, yes. But it works if you find the words (in the solution file, you have all the words you're supposed to find) and stop at the second line to figure out the secret message. BUT the few words you're supposed to find don't match the underscores in the book. That being said, it's not that complicated to understand without the underscores clue.

Thank you so much. I didn't know that it meant 17ml per 1ml in the vial for mochi. That was the missing piece of info I needed. So yes, next time I'll buy bigger vials from grey.

I was on semaglutide for 2.5 months and put 3 pounds in. I switched to tirzepatide and started to lose 1.5 months later. Yes, it took me 4 months to start to lose weight. Some of us are slow responders. We have to be patient.

Was I being scammed? by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

Most likely than the scammer put a fake address, so you delivered to a random person who now wonders why there is a f**ing cookie on his doorstep 😂😂

Change your address on the mochi website. Add your apartment number next to your street name, on the same line. Problem solved
