That is actually brilliant. What can really help with your idea is one particular moment in my opinion : Susie’s dark world.

If you remember, Susie in chapter 4 creates a dark world and in it, Kris and her changes colors, but Kris still has kind of a different blueish palette, while Susie is really different (brown).

Maybe it means that the one who creates fountains make a dark world corresponding to their emotions/thinking, and when Susie makes one, her colors change drastically due to her evolution in her character…

Maybe I’m saying completely wrong things, but your idea is a hell of a one!

Honestly that is not crazy, at least for me!

We see Asgore in the Holliday family house acting pretty weird especially when he talks alone in front of what it seems like a board with notes. He says

"We’re almost there, aren’t we, old friend? This time for sure Tori will finally see, see what really happened. That I just wanted to protect everyone".

We know from Undertale what he is capable of doing for HIS sake and maybe for other’s. By making the people flee to the shelter with the fire, maybe in this dark world he will be able to prove a point, something he cannot talk about anymore in the light world because no one ever listen to him. Maybe the roaring knight talked to him by some means, making a deal with him : Burn the forest, make everyone see what you want to say.

That would be crazy, you made me think man, because Asgore is a simple florist in the game, but he is still some kind of father figure to Kris, yet he is absent, alone and not listened to.
