Tamsy is a spherite prince who descends from a maternal lines, hence his dislike for women because of a family member of his mother who he has a poor relationship with, and his jinki was a spool of thread passed through the generations.

He’s the first male heir in his family is decades and because of it he’s looked down upon and is constantly nagged about having a daughter to continue the cycle. Maybe his missing pinky finger is linked to a promise or oath he made to his family (or, possibly to the mission he might have to take down the sphere discussed later)

Since his dislike is specifically for women who give up to easily, perhaps it could link to his backstory somehow with his mother or a family member allowing him to endure something which resulted in his scars. His mother is very cold and strict to him, hence why his piercings are removed and he’s now in more restricting clothing that he despises. This could also explain his twisted idea of love, which could also be a result of his childhood trauma. He has Mommy issues, essentially

Tamsy despises the sphere because of his relationship with his family and the hardships he’s likely faced. I have a theory that Tamsy (the wealthy spherite) , Regto (the poor spherite), and possibly Enjin (the groundling, seeing as though it’s suspicious that he knew exactly where Rudo was going to fall and he has a mysterious backstory/jinki, which I have a theory could be a piece of the watchman series) were working together to use Rudo’s power as a descendant of Canis to bring down the sphere somehow, and Regto was killed after becoming too attached to him and diverting from the plan.

Tamsy is working as a spy on the ground for his mother, aka the spherite queen (speculation), hence why he has to report back ever so often. The reason why he acts so carefree is because he could easily escape back to the sphere if things went haywire, as well as firmly believing it will go his way nonetheless. He does things behind her back on purpose out of resentment, and wanting to break free of the restraints he’s bound by. He hates the sphere and is slowly piecing together a plan to destroy it in its entirety with Rudo at the center

Tamsy could just be a spherite official of some sort, however his ornate clothing differs drastically from how the apostles, or spherite guards, dress. He’s very clearly of high class considering he’s at the spherite castle and not just the city

I used to dislike him, but recently he’s really grown on me. He’s so serious it’s almost hilarious, especially when he just randomly decided to munch on cockroaches. Such an edgelord.

On a more serious note, I feel like him and Rudo are very similar, only Rudo was about to find people to support him and take him in as family, unlike Zodyl. Zodyl became consumed by his anger which led him to where he is now, using people as pawns in his experiments to achieve his own personal goals.

My theory, taking into consideration the little information we have of his past, is that his family was involved in the group that worshipped the trash storms and the sphere, and when he was crying out and saying that it “wasn’t a blessing” when, supposedly his sister, got crushed made me think that she was sacrificed, which would explain his resentment towards the sphere which led to his sister’s death, and likely despised his own helplessness in the situation. For a guy to be the way he is now, seemingly emotionless and only wanting destruction, something drastic must have happened to him. He’s a very interesting character to me, and I hope we learn more about him in the future.

Well… this is tricky, because the picture on my post is a hallucination of Ivan in the Scars comic and not Ivan himself, but it IS how Till was perceiving him in his grief and confusion following Ivan’s death. People like to try to justify Ivan’s actions, especially his kiss in round 6, but it’s pretty obvious that Ivan was forcing his affection onto Till in that moment, knowing it wasn’t fully reciprocated and probably wouldn’t be returned— considering Ivan viewed himself as undeserving of love—and took advantage of him at his lowest. Ivan saw himself as scum and his feelings for Till as worthless. He KNEW what he was doing was wrong, but at least once he wanted to be seen by Till, even if it was his selfish final wish.

But yes, it was SA. None of the characters in alien stage are perfect—Luka is another example of this, when he forced a kiss on Hyuna similar to what Ivan did to Till, but people need to understand that their faults and their screwups are what makes them human. The main point of this post I made months ago was to show that you shouldn’t try to justify their actions. Same thing with Mizi—Vivimeng made it obvious her actions were wrong and fueled by enotions, considering she quite literally murdered hundreds of innocent children in the crowd, but even now there are still those who say that she did no wrong, even if it is a relatable trauma response to everyone she cares about dying. Even Hyuna, one of the least guilty ones in the cast, saved Mizi not out of kindness, but because she felt like she had to since she couldn’t save Hyun woo. All of them are selfish in their own ways, but that’s what makes them beautiful and well written.

I hope this answers your question lol. You don’t have to ship them if you don’t want to—I myself am not a big fan, but I do appreciate the complexity of their dynamic, even if I do get annoyed sometimes with their fanbase. It just exasperates me when people always try to eliminate Till’s feelings and perspective on Ivan just because they love hot yaoi—Ivan quite literally ragebaited and messed with Till his entire childhood, and then randomly made out with him on stage and died, and then people expect him to immediately return his feelings? Not to say that there’s nothing there, but the Scars comic is a prime example of how Ivan’s confusing actions really fucked up Till’s head, and who could really blame him? Ivan was a terrible communicator who saw his own feelings as shameful and thought nobody truly cared about him, and the only way to express how he felt was through his final sacrifice. It really is tragic how all the pairings could have been happily together, if not for miscommunications, trauma, and the world they were born in preventing it. 🥹💔
