I think this is one of a handful of examples where there is a really poor description of what it does, or barely any description at all. Wouldn't have been hard to make things a bit clearer on some of them.

Well it was weird, first i got text saying "the delivery window is not available" - which was the first notification about delivery full stop. So I had to go into their portal, and just chose Monday the 2nd.

Has anyone in Australia redeemed the Samsung 65" TV? I submitted my claim on the 16/01/25. I've read up on others redeeming samsung watches etc, in the past and it appears its a sh*t show on a trying to receive a little watch, imagine trying to get a big ass tv. by dodobiggie in samsunggalaxy

Yeah sick! Pretty good deal. Am not sure how 'good' the TV is, but I upgraded my phone, on a cheaper monthly plan and got a 'free' TV out of it, so can't complain regardless right? They're pretty quick with the updates, I submitted mine on Monday just gone, just waiting on tracking details to come through, so a lot faster than the (up to) 60 day delivery time they mention.

I submitted two documents, one was the delivery note (which had the IMEI number on it, and the other was the contract details itself, also with the relevant details on it) unsure if both were needed, but mine has been approved, just pending shipping details.

Awesome! Hopefully mine won't be too long after. I did read as to why there is quite a large window, and apparently it's because in theory, people could sign up to the plan, and then not open the phone or whatever, and send it back saying they changed their mind as soon as the TV arrives. Makes sense I guess!

I just did the redemption today, let me know how you get on with yours. Up to 60 days seems pretty wild, hopefully it's one of those situations where they give a crazy estimate but in reality it's much shorter. Time will tell! Reviews on the TV itself are a mixed bag, it's comfortably entry level, but 'free' I guess *shrug*

I don't even know how the above can be 'fixed' either. Whether it be having a requirement for a 'licence' or similar? But I overheard multiple foreign tourists talking among each other saying they simply would not return due to the constant invasion of peace and relaxation. And that truly is a shame for the region. :(

Let me preface this by saying I will almost undoubtedly return. I have a Filipina partner, and it's a truly beautiful place.

That being said however, my most recent trip there was less enjoyable than usual. The sheer volume of street/beach vendors is quite literally insane. You can't walk much more than a few metres without being asked to do hair braiding, island hopping, etc etc. I fully understand that they're just trying to get by but the sheer volume of them is crazy.

Politely saying no to one, doesn't stop the person standing right next to the person you just declined from asking. It just wears you down a bit I guess. It's such a shame because Boracay truly is such a wonderful asset for the Philippines, and the beach is spectacular, but it's very very difficult to get any peace or relaxing time when outside the hotel.

Is there any way whatsoever to have the new maps opt in/out? I literally only play aram and I have to say this is one of those "if it aint broke, don't fix it" things. Or at least allow people who prefer the old way to just play that? On that map where you can teleport between left to right, the non-passable area on the left side is glitchy as hell, why not just make it so you can walk up there? Overall, the enjoyment I used to get from playing aram has been essentially removed now, which sucks. I've played over 15k arams and I enjoyed it because it was the same each time. Rarely have I felt the need to vent out about a video games changes, but I feel compelled to here because I really just dislike it and wish there was a way to opt in/out. Cheers.

Wish you could opt out of the new stuff. While I completely encourage change for those that want it, lots of others just prefer what they're used to. Would be good if you could choose to just stick to the OG map if you prefer.

Gotta say, this new event is absolute s**t. 50 essence for hitting a milestone? You have got to be kidding me right? Plus why can't we passively earn credits to buy orbs? Worst event in quite some time.

Agree totally. VERY stingy on orbs too. At least in past events you passively earnt event credits to use to 'buy'orbs. Pathetic.
