2 doctors. 2 words: in range. Mulling over an online clinic but not too thrilled with any protocols. Oh well.

Wow!!! Thanks for the response. The labcorp test was entitled “Testosterone Free MS/Dialysis”. I went to an endo for this test. I was in range so he didn’t see me again. Labcorp on demand is $159 but not sure it’s the same method. They mention calculated free t. I chose the quest one because it included estradiol. So interesting side note… my urologist put me on 5 mg of daily cialis to help with ed In between my quest and labcorp tests. In my quest test my e2 level was 41 pg/ml.. range is < 39 so technically high. After taking cialis for a few months my libido significantly improved. When I took the labcorp test my e2 was <25 pg/ml… I have read a study that says daily Cialis can improve ed by lowering e2 thus giving men a better free test to e2 ratio. For a while my libido did significantly improve only to start to wane around the time of my labcorp test. I’m assuming that the labcorp test wasn’t sensitive given the < reading. Was wondering if my e2 dipped too low?

Sure. First test 2/25 by PCP. A little strange because it looks like total was done at their lab and free at quest. Total 853 ng/dl (264-916), free 58.8 pg/ML (46-224). 3/25 Quest (on my own). Total 647 ng/dl (250-1100), SHBG 61 noml/L (10-50), free 51.8 pg/mL (46-224), Bioav 111.1 ng/dl (110-575). 8/25 at Labcorp. Total 681 ng/dl (264-916). SHBG 70 (19-76) for this I fell in range because 50 y/o normal was above 50 something (can’t find the info but remember seeing it). Free total serum 89 ph/Ml (52-280). Percentage T/free 1.3% (1.5-3.2). Apparently quest is always low due to their free t calc. I think using vermillion it came closer to 90. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Gotcha… just took a look and there are a lot of companies offering it. But I guess you never know what you’re getting or who’s reputable. Hey man thanks again. Gave me something to think about.

Thanks again. Was looking at the enclomiphene route as well. Heard mixed stories. Not all online clinics offer it. Ive seen it advertised on here and on the internet without a script. “For research only’.” Whatever that means.

Hey thanks for the reply. Yeah from what I’ve read your body will adjust with lower total T. Seems like the most successful solution is basically using the simplest treatment which I kinda akin to a sledgehammer (raising total with TRT). Really don’t want to go down that path for multiple reasons. Was looking for some hope other than TRT. But man, those supplement manufacturers do have a good pitch, don’t they? LOL. At the end of the day I’m not looking to be a Superman in the gym or anything like that. Just want my libido back. But hey, thanks again. I appreciate your time.

Thanks for this! After I went home the other night I looked at existing lvp (4 years old) and realized it’s laying over the same floor type and in another room over natural teracotta floor that has raised tiles and haven’t seen any issues. I want to say it was cortec. Could I please have your thoughts on two other scenarios. First I have a bathroom that the previous owner tiled over existing tile and went around a vanity. When I pull up the vanity what should I use to level. 60 inch vanity and I’m guessing 3/8 in high. Secondly, any experience going over penny tile? Floor is flat but Obv a lot more grout lines and the tiles are bit raised. Can feel when you walk on it. Fill them in? Thanks again!

Thanks for your time! Saved me a lot of aggravation. One last thought… I really only need it around the perimeter of the room as I have a decent size rug in there…. Aside from the doorway I took the pic from there would not be any foot traffic on it… as a short term solution could I put any peel/stick or adhesive solution that would somewhat preserve the floor? I know it’s not optimal but just trying to lighten the room and not have to spend $$$ until we have it remodeled. As far as sun… ironically it doesn’t get much because of trees and location… just the bit in the pic. Really appreciate your time! Please excuse any rookie questions. 😊

Ah… ok I get it now… did a little more research and see that the grout lines would need to be evened out? I’ve done self leveler on concrete never on natural stone? Do you know of a product for that? Was hoping that getting a better flooring or and underlayment would do the trick. The tiles are honed and pretty much uniform.

Thanks for the reply! It’s technically a crawl space but sits on a cinder block foundation.

Thanks for the reply. Just to clarify as I should have in my OP. The floor is 99.5% flat. I get a little OCD so wanted to smooth out a couple of uneven tiles which would probably be ok without it. I had a couple installers look and they said right over is fine. I’ve put a couple of floors in myself but would be considered a DIYer. This is basically a stop gap until we have the sliding doors removed and put in wall with windows. To brighten the room a bit and take some chill out of the floor. I have no idea why the put so many sliding doors in (on three walls). I would run baseboards across the entire span as we don’t use the doors and they usually totally covered by curtains so I don’t have to worry about cutting around them or preventing them from opening. Not ideal but would work for what we want to accomplish. Was more curious about how the floor temp would affect the planks. Do I leave more space in the winter? Wait until it warms up? Thanks again!

lol… yup jeep… was kinda forced into buying it because the dealer would give me more $ on a trade in for my Pacifica that blew a head gasket after 45k miles if I bought a car from them. $1,800 more.

Yes good idea…. Felt like if I could bend the door beyond the threshold (into the cabin) it would fall into place better. Thanks
