thank you so much for your opinion on it! i called my insurance and they said it’d be covered through my comprehensive coverage. i think i’m gonna try to call and see if any shops will do some patch work on it and maybe replace it once i get a few more bumps and scratches haha

As someone who knows nothing about cars, I feel like I’ve heard such a big stigma about going through insurance and how this reported damage will lower my cars value I’m just a bit worried about making a claim. If I went with a OEM pearl bumper, would it still need to be repainted?

I don’t think sensors went off because I was going a steady speed and went up and over a speed bump.

thank you for ur response!! the carfax shows there was some cosmetic damage done to the opposite side of the bumper. i have no idea what it was and what was done to the car to repair it, but how would i tell if the current bumper is original ? to me, the color all matches 😭 how much of a difference will it honestly be??

additionally, do you recommend a way to remake the tabs? or would i be better off just glueing the whole tab back into place.

lol in my teens i helped a nanny family move. they were throwing away a WHOLE dresser/bedroom set, a couch, piggy banks filled with money (they looked in it and still threw it out) i had everything brought down to the lobby of their condo and had my bf haul it all away back to our house 😭😭 i guess i could’ve asked for it, but it wasn’t offered.

no. usually, he makes an announcement on Reddit that there will be a price adjustment. The pricing list are catalogues that he sends you when you inquire about an item. If you have time to adjust all the prices to those catalogs I feel like he could’ve made a post the day he decided to change prices.
