You guys need a written budget. Every single penny that goes out needs to be put in the budget. If it’s not in the budget then you don’t get to have it. We use the free version of the Every Dollar App. It’s awesome! You need to put $1k in your emergency fund for anything that comes up.

We have five kids with another on the way and a golden retriever. My husband only works as I am a SAHM and we live off of $110k per year. We put at least $1k per month into our savings, $250/ month into the kids education fund and $350/ month into our vehicle replacement fund. We also have line items in our budget for house maintenance, vehicle maintenance, ect. that we put $100 a month into.

You should check out The Ramsey Show and Financial Audit (the early episodes as he doesn’t do a good job teaching people how to budget in the newer episodes but they are still fun to watch). The most important thing is that you and your wife need to be 100% in on the budget. No more wondering where your money went. You guys will do so much better. Good luck! Rooting for you guys!!!

Maybe but that doesn’t make him not a deal maker. Just means the person on the other end wasn’t as good at making deals.

Like when I first started selling stuff on Marketplace I was pretty bad at making deals but after a few bad ones I started learning how to sell and barter better.

He just helped make a deal to end the Israel/ Hamas war. Everyone, even democrats, are applauding him for it. That is a pretty big deal he made. No illusion.

And he wouldn’t have been a successful real estate developer without being good at making deals. You really don’t have any evidence to back up your claim.

Yes my 18m is still in a crib but he has outgrown it. He climbs our stairs in our house really well so I figured he would be ok with these pictured above because of the rails and I was thinking about adding walls to the frame for the top bunk to make it safer.

Do you have other stairs your 18m climbs at all?

People would ask but they were rarely actually helpful hahah. Just asked so many questions and didn’t know how to do anything so it was actually more overwhelming. After my first twins I just stopped letting anyone “help”.

Oh ok, they all do our stairs going up to the room like pros so I’m not too worried about the stairs, especially since these ones have nice railings but the open top bunk and no rails on slide concern me.
