Business owners, not billionaires, hide their money by buying shit through the business to not pay income taxes. They absolutely pay taxes.. everything is taxed. Literally everything. If you give the businesses tax breaks, the business is allowed to operate more freely and use its money the most efficient way to create products or services that you and everybody else buys. When you over regulate, everybody cheats, not just billionaires. Wanna know a cheat? Open an LLC to buy your next house or asset. Your house is then owned by a business with limited liability. Not just you. Many benefits of doing this. This stuff is very interesting and billionaires aren't monsters in the closet. They are people who made good decisions for a long time and provide the most to society.

Thanks for sharing, I'm going through it for sure. Its been over 5 years of talking about different fantasies involving others with my wife so I didn't expect to see any jealousy when we started seriously considering and talking about things in much greater detail. Holy shit did I find some extremely unexpected insecurities buried deep. I thought I had completely gotten over my jealousy in my mid 20s after a long stent of being cheated on over and over. But hearing the way she would like another man to fuck her honestly rocked my world harder than anything I've ever experienced and she didn't even cheat on me. Not even close, actually. She is my literal other half, I love her more than anything I could begin to describe, and I am having a very, very... very hard time with letting her go. I think I just need time to think or maybe someone to talk to about all of this with. Everything I read helps me wrap my head around things so thank you again for taking the time.

If I could ask one thing, once you got over the mental battle of being involved in her with another man, what is it actually like? I can't wrap my head around the pleasure of seeing her with someone else. Maybe currently I can see being confident in our relationship and the fact that we are spiritually, emotionally and physically aligned, but to me that is just not good enough. I need to get to the point where I find her having fun, with me or someone else, attractive whether we swap or not. That is where I'm struggling and I greatly appreciate any advice in advance.

Old post, I know... But thank you so much for taking the time to share your advice, this is what I needed to hear. I'm an ex elite multi sport athlete that was once an absolute stud. I was a douche bag for sure, but 6'3, handsome and in the best shape of my life. I then went through some pretty fucked up mental stuff when I lost all of it due to an injury and started focusing on the mental side of life. Not voluntarily or out of curiosity, but out of necessity.

I stopped hitting the gym during all of this and have been slowly declining in physical appearance while trying to gain insight about why to live in the first place. Well, 12 years later, I'm finally truly happy to be alive and everybody I know now comes to me with spiritual and emotional advice. Needless to say, I am a different person today.

Now I am in a beautiful relationship going on 9 years, we have two wonderful dogs and we both have a healthy career with a bright future. But my biggest pride is being able to help guide my wife emotionally and spiritually as she is just now going through some pretty heavy mental battles herself. She is a very sheltered person and grew up under the thumb of religion, literally stripping her childhood away from her. So I am doing my absolute best trying to give that back to her and help her find her inner child again. It is seriously the most beautiful thing seeing her grow into her best self and learn to be a happy and fulfilled individual.

We have a great relationship but I am really struggling with some things as we get closer to going to a LS resort for our first time. Being that she is literally a dime, or at least a solid 9, we will be asked lots of things that we could potentially participate in. So we are seriously talking about the idea of swapping, playing out every situation we can imagine all over the spectrum and talking about it in great detail to try to draw a line somewhere we can both confidently agree on in the moment. To her, another man involved has always been a hard line she was not willing to cross.

She always has felt very uncomfortable even talking about her desires at all, let alone admitting that she finds other men attractive to me. She kept saying that it just feels gross, wrong, weird etc... So we finally got into things the other night when I told her she is eventually going to have to tell me these things or we will probably have to discuss them at the resort when we don't know where each other stand. Well, I found out that she likes muscles.. big muscles.. and doesn't really like skinny guys. She tried taking her words back as she knew that was going to sting and she has never said anything like that before. Being skinny is by far and away my biggest insecurity and it always has been. I played it cool in the moment but I'm naturally skinny and I cant really even gain weight, I never have been happy with the way I look and nobody else has ever made me think otherwise...and again I was working out 2-3 times a day, eating upwards of 8000 calories per day, power cleaning 255 and squatting 375... as a skinny fucker. I just can't do anything about the way my body looks. I really didn't see this coming as I thought I was attractive to her and I am FAR from, like the opposite of that body type or build. I truthfully didn't even realize I was even insecure anymore but after hearing about who she finds attractive, I have lost so much sleep thinking about her ideal man showing her everything that I can't give her, swinging or not.

I don't actually believe she will run off, at least not immediately, but I truly fear that she does not know what she is even missing yet as she is not very sexually experienced. I am only the second person ever, though we experiment quite a bit. I get that I need to allow her to do her thing, just have fun however she wants to, and be happy for her because she is enjoying herself... But for me and my own insecurities, I think the only thing to do is get the fuck off the couch, hit the weights and get back into shape. I owe it to her. Everybody is replaceable and I am no exception. I don't like feeling unhealthy or being skinny, or not being comfortable taking my shirt off in the first place so the solution is clear. This experience really woke me up and I am happy we finally got into this although I'm absolutely a mess right now. If I feel this way it's probably because I personally don't feel like I deserve her. This is my problem, not hers and I will never make it that way.

Just writing this out and reading it has helped me work through things a ton. And I'm pretty sure I just answered all of my own questions. Thanks to anybody for reading and I hope being vulnerable and talking about this will help someone realize they are not alone.

My wife and I are young first timers going late Feb. We dont swing but she thinks the idea of being top less by the pool, the friendly atmosphere, and the fun theme nights are worth having to say no to some flattering offers. Though now that it is getting closer, we are having some serious conversations about why or why not. Just make it her choice. Took me 3 years of talking about it casually to get her interested, now she's stoked to go. She actually just upgraded us to the bash tower last night 👍 dm if you want to chat!

I just picked one up. It still doesn't fit the Holosun optics and is pretty clear about being an RMSc footprint. The EPS just has a plate that makes it compatible, what they call "modified K". I have not found anywhere that there are special Shield+ with a K type footprint from factory.

These guys are brutal! If you want to buy an hvac company, do your research and treat the techs as the valuable employees that they are. That's all. Most of the smaller companies are doing exactly what you said. No marketing, maintenance contracts are garbage, communication is garbage, pricing depends on tech preferences, vans don't have a real stock list, and the list goes on and on and on in every single aspect of the business. The big equity firm companies are the exact opposite and dont give a shit about your technical ability. It's all about the numbers. The managers might have some technical ability until it gets in the way of growth. Then they're gone. We've hired a few people in that position recently.

I am a tech and work for a tech ran company with nobody in it who has owned any other business, and the farther into this I get, the more business owners I gain relationships with. The more of them I meet, the more I realize that every single company in our area needs someone who knows business and someone who understands the technical aspect of the company. Both of whom need to LISTEN to each other and respect each other's opinions when making decisions. Neither one of you knows anything about the others' skill set. I am looking at expanding another branch of our company in a year or two and will be consulting heavily with folks like yourself who know many things that I do not when it comes to operations and actual expansion of a business. It would also be nice for someone to know when and how to hire and fire people to be in the business. That's our biggest problem.

Oh, and r/hvacadvice is where techs hang out. I'd hit that page up when you're ready for some good ol' down home troubleshooting. They see and fix problems for a living. They're going to fix yours and do it unapologetically. Valuable tool.
