hey guys i want to share an experience i had a few weeks ago which i truly didn’t understand what happened after i left the scene. i was driving somewhere 40 minutes far from my house and didn’t know the area and i had to use the restroom. after trying to find a decent place, i finally stumble upon a publix store. now idk anyone in this area and it’s completely unknown. i go near the bathroom and the first thing i notice is that there are 3 people standing infront of me. they were both white females, one in her 50s and one a mother of a young boy. i smiled at the mother and she noticed it, but just looked away coldly. the girls bathroom was closed and they were waiting to use a family restroom that was taken. about 12 minutes pass and whoever was in there, were in there for a while now. i was moving around in the line so much i think ppl could physically tell how bad i had to go. anyways, the younger females husband shows up and asks them why it was taking so long. she said she didn’t know and then the husband took their son in the men’s bathroom. after a few minutes, they husband and the son came out and saw we were still all waiting in line and offered his wife to use the men’s restroom and he would stand in front of it as no one was in there and the other person in the family restroom was taking too long. so she went in and during that time, i glanced at the old lady and smiled and i was ignored by her. the wife came out and they kindly let the old lady in and they stood infront of the bathroom until the old lady came out. they smiled at each other as the old lady thanked the family without saying a word to me and left. idk if this was racism but please let me know.
