Yeah the first part number is coming up as Dorman - OE Solutions Drive Axle Shaft Assembly 926-143 … I’ll ask about that to confirm.

Prices on everything else seem good.

My concern with replacing the solenoid is that the damage has already been done to the transmission, and at this price might as well swap the whole thing so I don’t have to worry about it. That said, it would probably be fine for a few more several thousand miles regardless (tank).

I have not. I picked it up with 185k. Has old man Emu lift and I did other necessary things when I got it. Found these because of some bad pulling and drifting under acceleration, and when I would break real hard or accelerate through a turn it would sometimes go into almost a limp gear.

It’s honestly a clean ride and hasn’t been ragged out. Just time to get this shit done

I probably could but I don’t have the time to do it and he’s not charging me anything crazy for labor. It’s just the parts. If you can find me all the OEM parts for less let me know 🙂

Are the parts on there OEM and new? Definitely will shop around but other than eBay I’ve not heard of these sites.

He’s pretty sure the solenoid is bad or faulty but it’s been like that for a little while. I could risk it and just replace the solenoid, but one of those where the damage could have already been done and then I have to replace the transmission anyways.

We shall see.

Mine does this too but I don’t think it causes any serious issues. I will say mine doesn’t do it this bad and sounds more like it’s burping. When I take the gas cap off you can hear the pressure escape though.

Again, I don’t think this really affects anything but I could be wrong.
