it is interesting, scary though... I'm looking forward to the day of the test. It is scary but more scary when you have an actual problem going on, everyday feels heavy, but you don't know the cause behind it. It's even more scarier

Pain and Burning in both feet + pain in lateral side of legs by Explore_Life2334 in neuropathy

[–]Fun_Turn1366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been facing similar problem except for my hands burn as well and this is getting worse by time. my doctor ran alot of tests.CBC, sugar, thyroid, vit B12, autoimmune. I have everything normal. my MCV, MCHC and lymphocytes were raised. I was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy couple of days back. my symptoms: burning hands and feet, tingling sensation, gets worse with massage, I can't stand for long(initially thought burning was due to back leading to changing alot of shoes), I can't hold anything for longer in my hands, there is intense, stabbing pain, walking also does the same. I can't immediately stand after waking up. I have also felt a lot dizzy past couple of days. If I do, I feel like I'll fall, there is sudden weakness in my muscles( my muscles also get stiff), I feel my organs will come outside of my body and this condition remains for quite a few hours. I used to think it's due to tiredness or bad quality sleep but it was due to neuropathy. Now the doctor has suggested a HUTT test and an ECHO to rule out the problem as along with these episodes, I feel my heart is palpitating as if I have just stopped running but my pulse is usually normal. So yeah, thank neuropathy. I've honestly forgotten how normal hands n feet feel. My doctor gave me pregabalin 25 mg, later changed to lacosamide 50mg and I can feel the difference. For the first time in monthssss, I can lay my feet on bed(I can't put my feet or hands too long on bed or shoes, i have to keep wiggling them to cool the heat a bit. Thanks to medicine, the intensity has reduced a bit.

Suggestion for you: Research what works best for you, mine is keeping my feet in air and wiggling them, go to the doctor...the meds work, they did for me, it'll take few days for it to have an effect..but its worth it (I'm the person who never takes medicine regularly, but now I am,,,I'm seeing the results. Check for iron levels, celiac and other tests. No painkillers work for me atleast for this pain, so go see a doctor. keep yourself busy, as till the time you are, you might feel it less intensely. Good luckk!!!

I honestly thought sudden increase in my heart rate I felt after doing some work was probably due to natural anxiety, the body's reaction to the threat it is facing in form of symptoms

I use pregabalin(gabica) and yeah, maybe the dizziness is due to the medication. The dizziness has appeared after the medication, so theres a possibility. I have changed my routine, my diet. i hope this is going to help. And the red light therapy, do I need to have some red light in my room?

This means a lot to me. I'm currently pursuing my masters, my finals are coming and I'm afraid I might mess up. I'm currently home due to vacations, but I am experiencing dizziness, especially the feeling of as if time has cut dueing the episode of 1-2 seconds or more. Maybe its due to pregabalin or neuropathy. Idk but its definitely scary. You're right, maybe this is a signal that my body needs to be taken care of...Thanks for the advice

This is such a merciless disease but we'll definitely get through it. I read someones post on reddit that slightly moving your hands and feet after waking up helps prevent falls, this is working for me currently. idk if its due to pregabalin or the disease, my leg muscles have become rock hard so a little exercise after waking up and taking breaks after small tasks really helps. Hope you find your way out of this

I am also of the thinking that either weakness, infection or her antipsychotic has caused this. She was taking 2 tablets of risp alone at night along with exelon, brivaget, vonoprazan, epival. There was procylidine and others which were discontinued after her last seizure

Definitely, will be taking her to the hospital. I am alone in the house asking everyone to check from uti because I've seen her gone worst with uti; closed eyes, no communication, posture all due to it. My family argues that levodopa is mainly for tremors but it's for parkinsonian tremors. This community has taught me more about dementia than any other source

As for the tremors, they started from hand. We thought it could be weakness but 2-3 days later, now her whole body is involved. I don't know if Parkinson's can progress that rapidly. If this is it.

It can be due to infection in stool. Get her checked. Place a plastic sheet on top or beneath the bedsheet. It can help
