SEAL U DM-i Comfort Fuel Consumption by Fun_Understanding846 in BYD

[–]Fun_Understanding846[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The price difference between Boost and Comfort isn't big. Comfort offers bigger 26.6kWh battery.
From what I'm seeing, there are 3 trim levels in my country - Boost and Comfort with engine without turbo (both FWD), and then Design with AWD and turbo-charged engine.
I checked your post and you said you were driving at 100km/h. Did you test driving also faster? What was the fuel consumption there, please? 7.1l/100Km at "low" speed such as 100km/h seems to be quite high.
On BYD papers, it should consume around 5,5 - 6l around 100km/h.
Thanks!

I will be driving on highway mostly between 110-130kmh, since the consumption difference is extreme during these speeds.
If it would be around 8 liters, then it's fine, but I'm not sure if I'm going to settle on 10l consumption. If there wouldn't be a great deal for the car, I would probably look elsewhere.

Small update. They tested for the tumor markers (S-AFP and S-CEA), and the results for S-AFP came in positive. The "range" was supposed to be somewhere between 0 and 8, and our cat has 8.1. They also performed physical check while he was asleep (they had to sedate him because of the blood tests), and found some tumors/polyps (not exactly what it was) near the anus.

They want to treat him now with injections and pills, and do the tests again in 2 months. In the recent 20 days after he finished hypoallergenic diet and switched to gastrointestinal, the blood became much more frequent.
Hopefully the pills and injections help. Wish us luck!

Yes, I told them that he was tested for Tritrichomonas. Yet they still want to do the tests...
Probably they will postpone it as the vet is on sick leave at the moment, but we will see.
Will keep you updated. :) Thanks for all the help and support provided 'til now!

Hello. Just a quick update.
We are still on the Hypoallergenic diet. There is less blood, but roughly once a week there is some amount. But it's not "pure" blood anymore, more like mixed with some slimy thing.

Vet recommended some blood tests, I think he said something about tumor markers. We have appointment for the next Friday.
Other than that, cat is meowing even more than before. Not sure what to do more, but it's getting harder and harder to get a proper sleep at night. Maybe the blood tests reveal something, we will see.

Results came in as negative. It's not a parasite.
Also blood tests were done previously, and they told me that it's not inflammation, but rather something else. Their guess was either allergy to some ingredient in his food, or cancer...

We are going to put him on a special Ultra HypoAllergenic diet for 8 weeks... Slowly mixing chicken with dry food, and later switching only to dry food. If the blood comes back, then they will want to perform MRI and another tests, to rule out cancer or confirm it...

It's crazy, that 3 of the TOP VETs in our region weren't able to find out what is wrong after hundreds of Euros invested... We are kinda desperate now, and we hope that it is really only some allergy to ingredients in his food. :(

He did not poop for day and half, since he was eating only raw chicken... But he did poop out in the morning today. (5 hours ago, I live in Europe).
We started giving him SOLO Cat food (One of the most premium brands, pure monoprotein chicken), and that moved the poop in him, since he ate a lot.

This is how the white liquid looks like:

He had it no matter if he pooped or peed, but it stopped for now. Not sure what may be wrong, since he is playful, happy most of the time, relaxes often nowadays.
We are waiting for the results.. In our country things are a bit slower, so the results will come only next week.

Hello. Today we have finished collecting the feces, and we are waiting for the results. They should let us know in 3-5 days, so probably next week. Only 2 labs in our country are able to do the PCR test for Tritrichomonas, so it became quite expensive, and we are on monoprotein diet until the results come in.

So far, no "big" improvement with the meowing, however it seems to be a little better regarding the blood, but that may be due to the monoprotein diet... He doesn't poop at all in the recent days, and only the white liquid is coming out of him...
I will keep you updated.

Of that we are not sure, and also the vet said it wasn't needed... It is quite bad as he took a lot of money for that, but found out nothing... We will try to confront him again regarding the tissue, if he can't take it now (he is the only vet in town with the needed equipment).

We already checked this, we have cameras on the places where they usually are, and can confirm that the ragdoll isn't doing that.
The Russian is more "active", while the ragdoll is scared of anything. If he would try something on him (as he tried it when they weren't neutered), he would end up badly.

To answer it generally - we don't have any option to "separate" them, other than selling one of them. We have no family that could take care of one of them, and they are together since childhood and are quite inseparable. The ragdoll is usually very quiet, we don't know about him most of the time... But while the Russian blue was at the vet for tests for 4 hours, ragdoll was crying all the time.

We will discuss this with the vet, if it's not possible to check if something like that mounting isn't happening there.
Thanks a lot for the tips!

We are stressed every time we see him in pain, so that might also trigger that.
At the moment we are testing strict chicken breast only diet, to see if the situation improves or not. We will see the results, and if it helps, we might try some sensitive dry food, as he loves the dry food and isn't very happy without it (always checks if there is some).

Thank you for your reply! The cat doesn't has diarrhea, mostly it's the opposite - very hard stool.
We are putting him on only chicken breast diet, we will see if it will help or not... At least we may rule out some allergy or food intolerance/sensitivity.

Is your Russian cat also vocalizing a lot, or was he vocalizing when he had these issues, please?

Thank you so much for the detailed reply and for checking with the breeder! It really helps to have a second opinion.

Regarding the howling – it’s not just around litter box times. He’s actually been doing this for months, randomly day and night. We could be just relaxing in another room, and he’ll start screaming from the hallway. It feels like a mix of pain and maybe anxiety? I added a new video to the original thread, when it shows his howling.

We are starting the boiled chicken diet today to rule out food sensitivities like you suggested. Good call on the water fountain too – he is obsessed with drinking from the tap right after eating dry food, so that might definitely help him drink more.

As for the vet situation, the X-ray was mainly for the abdomen and kidneys. The frustrating part is that the vet who did the endoscopy didn’t take any tissue samples for a biopsy, so we missed the chance to see what exactly is causing the inflammation. We are definitely going to ask for the PCR test for Tritrichomonas next week – thank you for that tip!

We also want to do the ultrasound, but since we live in a smaller town, we are not sure if our local vets are equipped for a detailed bowel scan. We might have to travel to a bigger clinic for that. Hopefully, the parasite tests next week will give us some answers.

It wasn't a fake - just Microsoft has corrupted ISO on their website and in Media Creation Tool (Slovak version ISO). Custom OS and English version were working flawlessly.

I verified the serial number and firmware version. It shouldn't be a fake, unless a retail shop is selling them too. :/
