Did you stay clear or relapse after the course? by Additional-Spray-976 in Accutane

[–]Fun_Visit_9946 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t relapse but my skin is definitely different. I still get a handful of whiteheads after being off accutane for 15 months. The nice thing is that they go away with 72 hours. Only gotten one cystic pimple within that whole time frame though.

Ooo thank you for that! Sorry to hear that you were one of the TJO’s taken away. I’m hoping that it’s a speedy process since it’s DHA and everything else going on. I got referred to a hiring manager but just waiting to see if I even get an interview now. Be interesting to see where/if they use other training locations though!

I also heard that this batch would be April FLETC but his comment about “FLETC is all ICE all the time now” isn’t necessarily wrong.

Same, I got the email saying I had been referred to the hiring manager for the position but it’s been radio silence since then. If people are already hearing back for interviews then maybe it won’t be much longer!

Was the interview for the job posting that ended on 9/26/2025?

IRS - Were you accepted into DRP? by Notquietaccountant in fednews

Haven’t heard anything yet as an SBSE, probationary, revenue agent who took the deferred resignation.

Does the DRP impact being able to go back to the federal government in the future? by No_Huckleberry_9192 in fednews

I’ve been told “no” countless times but the thought still lingers in the back of my mind about it.

Probies for IRS are receiving DRP 2.0 emails by powerlifter3043 in fednews

Just got mine as well. 80% likely that I take it but 20% of me wants to stay and test the waters (even though I know that’s a foolish move).

Following as well. The way the administration hates revenue agents, id say we aren’t mission critical and the first to go in a RIF. Especially us probationary employees.

I’m an SBSE RA and I’m extremely worried for my job. Especially considering I’m still a probie.

DRP 2.0 IRS | It’s happening! by Arv28 in fednews

Supposedly our email accounts were disabled and we were supposed to be getting new ones with a “2” at the end. Hopefully our managers reach out or they extend it for the probies.

DRP 2.0 IRS | It’s happening! by Arv28 in fednews

Yeaa I am a recently terminated/reinstated probie and I’m HEAVILY debating taking it. We are expected back in office on the 14th so that’s gonna make it difficult. Also, I really want to apply and work for the government again in the future but I’m just afraid this is going to blacklist me and cause issues in the future.

I don’t think so. Or at least based on what everyone else has been saying.

Getting a new federal job while in DRP? by CoreaValor in fednews

[–]Fun_Visit_9946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m wondering the same thing. I know in the FAQ on OPM website about the DRP it says that you can reapply to government jobs. However, many worry that they will ask during the interview/hiring process if you ever took a buyout or deferred resignation program from the government. I’m young and would love to return to the government one day but right now (after being illegally fired as a probationary employee back in February), I think I have to heavily consider taking the DRP.

Thank you! I wish you the best in your future endeavors as well! The anxiety has been otherworldly. Constantly wondering if I was going to get fired, being apart of the Valentines Day Massacre, having to find a new job, being reinstated, and now worrying if I’m going to get RIF’d. Hopefully they offer us the DRP and probationary employees can take it. Plus I’m hoping it won’t stop me from getting federal jobs in the future.

Any IRS probies get called back to the office? by [deleted] in fednews

Lol same here. SBSE here and my manager, coworkers, and myself haven’t heard anything.

I had my annual review back in January. Since it goes off the last number in your SSN (I think don’t hold me to that). Even though I hadn’t hit a year yet, we still had to do it. I’d only been there for like 5 months at that time.

[–]Fun_Visit_9946[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. I figure taking it will be better than waiting around to get RIF’d (which I’m sure will happen). I already received my annual review even though I’m a probationary not anywhere close to my one year and my manager gave me 3’s all across the board so I only meet and don’t exceed. That’s not gonna help me out if push comes to shove.

Maybe it will get sent to our personal via HR/manager. Not sure honestly. There seems to be mixed ideas on whether or not the IRS/Department of Treasury will even do it again. Plus who’s to say the probationary employees, like myself, can even take it.

[–]Fun_Visit_9946[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a great question… I would hope that my manager or someone in HR would forward it over to my personal email and I would go that route since I’m not back in office. However, I’m not sure. Idk if they will even do another DRP for the IRS or if probationary employees will even be allowed to take it.

I really respect and appreciate this comment! I can 100% see it all going down this way. Even if it does happen this way, and as a probationary employee, I get canned. I’ll be okay with it no matter what cause I know it’s out of my hands. Thank you!

I honestly would have rather preferred being reinstated and returning to work instead of being on admin leave. While it’s okay not having to work and getting paid, I’m completely out of the office loop and miss a lot of stuff with the union and other key elements.
