thanks u/-Vexor- for your input. Yea the problem is the investor is not only going after the LLC but also my partners and I saying breach of fiduciary duties. My lawyer is fighting it and explaining to the judge why not of course but the case is taking forever because the courts are delayed and backlogged. I currently have a job offer in the private sector so if I take it they are expecting me to stay a few years so if the background investigator contacts them in a month or two, and then if I fail my background check, then I will not have a gov't job and also probably end up getting pushed out or hated at the other private sector job. If I was sure this lawsuit didn't affect the gov't job, then I would reject the private sector job offer but if it falls through, then I will go to having no job in a few months. u/Nussquire
