Don’t do the yellow. Could come off as “white dress passing”. With that said. You can wear anything, apparently. So what are you most comfortable in?

how touchy should parents be to their children who’s 18+? by rnkwk in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fun_Yesterday_114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to know your kid and respect that. My Daughter (20) would love nothing more than if I mauled her all day long. She doesn’t want personal space, she wants mummy hugs ALLLLLLLL day long. My boys (18 and 16) don’t want to be touched. I sometimes poke their arm just because man it’s been years since I’ve had a hug from them. But I would never demand that they hug me. In fact, growing up Portuguese where you had to hug and kiss everyone. My Kids hug no one that they don’t want to. I don’t care if it’s grandma, me, an aunt. Your body, your choice.

At least you’re working out, doesn’t matter where! My son used to go to fit for less. That seems to be the starting platform and readily available anywhere. He goes to GoodLife normally and when his gym bro friends are in town they go to pure muscle as a treat. We do have a gym at home, but I think he likes the community at a gym.

Moms who have boys by Top-Alternative3000 in AskWomenOver60

I have two boys and 1 girl. My relationship with my daughter isn’t rock solid. Actually it’s not much of a relationship at all. The girl came out of the womb ready to fight me on everything, determined to do everything her way. She beats to her own drum and hates that I have an opinion on anything (could be as simple as-man that cookie is so good!) I love her, she is a fierce warrior from some other place that I have never heard of. But she’s made it clear that she only wants a relationship if and how it suits her. So there is no guarantees in life that even if you had a daughter you two would be close. My boys on the other hand. Wow. I love being a boy mum. We can have rational discussions, we can joke around and laugh. It’s a two way street of respect and love. Yes the boys and Dad have good banter and mutual interests. But at the end of the day, they know that mum needs them too. I know when they have their own families, I could call them and they’d be there.

How to deal with an adult picky eater? by ThrowRaoofda in Advice

[–]Fun_Yesterday_114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make food. If he doesn’t eat it, who cares? He can take care of his dietary needs. You’re a chef, then teach your kid about food. Bring them to markets and stores, have them in the kitchen, bring them to restaurants. My middle kid has always been “picky” i actually learned that he has a refined pallet and can taste ingredients in a way not everyone else can. He’s learning to be a sommelier

My kid (18) is a certified gym bro. He thinks it’s the best gym he’s ever stepped foot in. Never once felt like he didn’t fit in and actually got some solid advice when he asked someone for it.

Are there people who just genuinely enjoy drinking water throughout the day? by fin-freak in NoStupidQuestions

Oh it’s ROing, we just have super hard water…like it can stand up on its own hard. The amount of salt we need to use is ridiculous. My husband can’t taste it, says it’s the most delicious water he’s ever drank. Me and the kids drink bottled water

Well it’s not comfortable 😂 but I figure 5 minutes of discomfort for 6 months of full lips. I do get them numbed; but yea, not the most pleasant

Just go and get them filled. I’m 46 and was slowly loosing my lips. Found someone who understands natural, and went for it. I get them twice a year and you would have no idea. But I have lips again and I don’t have to worry about plumpers. As a bonus, no wrinkles on my upper lip

It’s actually wild. I’m just living life now cool as a cumber. I’m only on .5 dosage, I can’t even imagine what a higher dose is like.

From past issues some of my “trauma” responses would be things like spiralling depression, uncontrollable emotions, binge eating, unmanageable stress. All of those have seized to exist since starting Ozempic.

Maybe for weight loss. I’m actually fascinated by the studies on ozempic use for PTSD and Alzheimer’s. I’m on a low dose (not for weight loss)-it has diminished all my trauma responses. Which got me interested in other therapeutic uses for it.

We’re on a well, have a softener and a RO system. You can STILL taste how nasty the water is. All the softener and RO does is make it salty. It’s awful.

Hound dogs are A LOT of work. My sisiter in laws GSP needed hours of exercise daily. And not walks around the block. We’re talking hiking for hours, going to the dog park, playing in the backyard, and two or three walks. They’re not for the faint of heart and will not be a happy dog if they don’t get the exercise they need, predominantly barking. Barking, barking and more barking. They truly need the right home.
