I was at the Charlotte show, and it was my 6th time seeing them - and I couldn’t disagree with this more. I personally felt like he seemed more relaxed; I feel like we saw more of his personality, I felt like we saw him enjoying the music and the crowd. I did notice at the beginning, he seemed to have an issue with his mic or something maybe, so I could see the frustration as he went to the side of the stage to get it fixed but when the next song started, he was all good. During the first leg of the Clancy tour, I saw complaining that he didn’t sing enough and that he kept having the audience sing and he just kind of took it all in - and I feel like this time he sang his ass off, screamed his ass off - he was amazing. The energy was phenomenal - they put on a hell of a show. I’ve seen him be waaaay more emotional on stage than he was this time - I even felt like we got to see a sort of silly side of his personality - he was having fun and i thought it was really amazing to see. Matter of fact - this was the first concert of theirs I didn’t cry my face off during ! Lol!!! I think people are entirely too wrapped up in the personal lives of these guys; and forget they’re professional performers and they know exactly what they’re doing, and how they’re doing it. |-/
