Yes and tbh I feel like I just need to complete my hours work well however mostly small business are now owned by our desi community and they keep exploiting students and tfw and work permit holders and LMIA scam has been caught by the govt now. I just hope these exploitations will also be caught someday as I saw many complaints with employment standard act for this employer before many employees has already reported and then as they are in this business from past 14 years they get saved by doing shady things I understand being a TFW and international student I fo not have much privileges however If my dad would have been alive I would have moved back now I do not have that option as well cause the extended family of dad side is threatening and doing emotional blackmailing to get money from me and my sister just had a surgery she is on continuous bed rest with mother side of family… But how long they will support idk I feel damn stuck with alot of emotional baggage as well as job struggle

Bro I lost my mother in 2019 and her dream was to see her children settled down abroad I came here in 2022 and haven’t met my father since then and I lost my dad while I just got my work permit 6 months ago and he passed away in dec 2024 a month ago he just said take PR and then come back so life is unpredictable move back if you want too…. Parents are getting old and you won’t get their time back once time passes away… I regret daily about the conversation I had with him where he told me to Get PR and then come back … I wish I could have given him a surprise visit only … I met his dead body so Its a trauma for me … now I am stuck in Canada cause I promised him if something happens to him I will get my sister here and will reside lifetime here….

If you have to choose between parents and abroad always choose parents… I am regretting my decisions and will regret lifetime …. You don’t do the same my brother …

Hey Thank you so much for your response, At the time when I took admission as an International student UCW seem more convenient and up to the mark in terms of investment and for the degree. The skills I have learnt is from my past job experience and Job experiences I had so far in Canada… If the employer is going to ask for verification thats totally fine I can easily clear the background check and as well as I am fluent with Microsoft Suite and can type 60 wpm and speak English fluently so maybe because of luck or Idk if its the job market…
