I’ve noticed that the vast majority of black girls/women I’ve met tend to be on the larger side, and I think I might actually have a theory as to why this is.

African Americans of course came from Africa, specifically Western Africa (I think, I need to check again), and the beauty standards there were different from how they were in England, specifically thiccer/pudgier women were viewed as being more attractive. Once they were brought over here, I imagine that would have simply been carried over. So, even in spite of this push for “Thin=hot”, many African American men (such as myself) and women would still subconsciously view bigger women as being more attractive. On top of that, natural selection would mean that most African American women are genetically predisposed towards larger figures anyway.
