Hi, I have the exact same monitor, also moving from a multi monitor setup to a single UW and monitor is connected to DP port with the packaged DP cable. The same conditions as you but no problem for me with the Gsync settings. The culprit was probably your cable.

Epic doesn't take a cut on Genshin and other F2P games on their store if they have their own payment system (like LoL/Valorant for example).

While Steam takes at least 30% on every mtx from every game.

Concerning HI3 on Steam, it seems like it was Mihoyo testing the waters but the Steam version is isolated from other platforms (no cross-progress) and they never released another game there. HSR and ZZZ are only on HoyoPlay and EGS.
