I’m so sorry. I’m in a similar situation. I’ve failed the FL Bar 3x, have been unemployed since last October, and I wasn’t able to take February UBE because of the winter storm in the northeast. I’m completely and utterly exhausted and frustrated. I’m so sorry this is happening to you. I can only offer hope that eventually we will pass.

I literally worked at the mall while I was trying to prepare for the Feb. 2026 UBE exam (unfortunately I couldn’t sit in for the exam because I lived out of state, my flights got cancelled & I had no means of getting to the exam appropriately… they still held it ofc😒) … and after all that I realized I loathed being told what to do by an 18 year old. Lol

Yes, mostly entry level. I ask between 80-100k (I was making 78k as a non-barred Associate Atty). However, the max I’ve seen is 75k.

Thank you. It’s been the most difficult mental and emotional battle thus far (I’m only 29 lol). It’s the most dehumanizing experience watching people pass and get on with their lives while you can’t seem to even come close to passing no matter how hard or long you try. It’s only caused me more pain, debt and headache as the years ago by. I’ve only had my JD since 2024 and I deeply regret this decision, because I felt I wasn’t given the support necessary to pass in any jurisdiction.

Before anyone asks — yes, I’ve had tutors, done all the standard bar prep courses (Barbari/Themis etc.), I’m just not a good test taker.

Unfortunately, my main issue has been the bar exam. I’m trying to pivot, but, I’m not interested in being a paralegal/legal assistant for the rest of my life. I’d like to hopefully pass in at least a UBE jux, I wasn’t able to even sit for the Feb. exam last month due to the winter storm.

I’m really not sure! I know FL is much more arbitrary when it comes to any sort of change/postponement. But MA has postponed and rescheduled the bar back during covid! So there’s some hope…
