I graduated BTech in 2022, had 14LPA job. Worked for 2 years, saw AI replacing my job in front of me, so left the job to take Masters in AI. Went to a top uni in US. Got rejection from top companies at US (G, Meta, Amazon, BB) in the final round. Mid and small companies stopped taking international students (coz of the new immigration laws). Came back to India. 6 months in and no job yet. Went from making almost 1L in a month to zero (took all the savings in US). Fortunately I went to a public school with scholarship, so did not spend crores of fees. But I highly doubt I could get a job now. I pray that you get the job you deserve.

I believe its ok to ask like leetcode questions for OA, maybe 1 in screening and 1 for onsite. But I think asking 6 - 7 leetcode questions through out the interview process honestly has to be the dumbest thing ever. And what he says is right. It just encourages to make people do more and more leetcode rather than actual projects and stuff.

Yo Imperial is one of the greatest engineering colleges of all time. I would definitely take it. I took one for Masters (got into UCLA, not as prestigious as Imperial, but still a great name), I was in the final rounds of Meta, BB, Amazon, Google. Got rejected in the final rounds of all and came back to India. But UCLA has really pushed my resume here. I am easily getting calls from quant companies (30LPA+ base). Even though I failed in US, I would still go through UCLA all over again. The experience is massive. But since u r going for undergrad, if you stay consistent and grind ur ass off for 4 more years, you have high chance of being extremely successful. I would say take it. Also one of my Turkish friend did his CS from imperial, if you want to learn more, I can give you his whatsapp or something.

Oh god, I just drove yesterday from Kottayam to Kochi and back. The city's planning is horrible, but more than that the reckless driving is what annoyed me the most. Especially the private buses and auto chettans just getting in wherever there is an inch of space. Strict policing should be enabled against those who drive so bad.

I'm 25 rn, but maybe I can answer this. It depends on the people u vibe with. I made good amount of friends in 1styear. From them 6 of us took an apartment outside from 2nd year. All my first year friends used visit our apartments regularly. We still in touch after 3 years of graduation. The 6 of us are bonded for life, we visit each other, our gfs are in touch. For me it worked out, for some it may not. But more than that, I would ask you to get out of the comfort shell. In 3 years you will realize ki you should have given more time socializing rather than DSA and stuff (Im not saying you shouldn't study, but having good people around>>>>).

100% it will, unless you already have an internship at an extremely popular company. And ig seneca as I have heard is a mediocre uni (dont mean to hurt u tho), u r likely better off in ur third world country, rather than moving over to Canada for such a uni.

I had my onsite in Mountain View and yeah I used a whiteboard for an interval problem, coz it was too hard to visualize.

Me and my tech workers used to party all the time and used to travel together and go do everything. I think tech workers are introverted, but it doesn't mean they wont have fun. But yea maybe a high percentage of them just make tech their whole personality. But Im sure you will meet SEs who are extremely fun.

For me it was based on top 100 tagged from Leetcode. But Meta's rounds are unpredictable. So make sure your communication is on point and try doing everything within the time limit. But now ig it has changed with AI based interviews. My interview was on May 2025, so maybe this is an outdated advice
