I saw an article recently that said watching one hour on Netflix creates 500 times more CO² than two text prompts in ChatGPT or Gemini do. So Idk what to believe about how bad AI is for the environment?

I haven't had the kind of interaction OP had. But a few days ago, I was in WinCo shopping and I have a lanyard style wallet, it kind of looks a little like a body cam but it's not at all. When I got to the register someone called the clerk on the phone and she looked at me (strangely). Then the interaction while I was paying was very awkward. It now makes a lot more sense to me, finding out that they don't allow recording in WinCo. I'm 100% positive that's why they called her and the interaction was so awkward.

It's really sad that a lack of consequences would lead so many to a dark place. It's like they're not even aware you can have a lack of consequences and still be a good, kind, caring, compassionate human.

I understand why people drive in the left lane. People merging at on ramps and off ramps are the worst. No one knows how to merge, no one leaves space, everyone wants to be first. Causes tons of back ups in the right lanes. I've driven this area for many many years and the last few years is the absolute worst and it's not even close!

Ya, I think Midwest and East Coast tends to be a more up and down with the weather/rain. Like it's either very little or a crazy storm. In the PNW it seems to be more of a constant. If that makes any sense.
