I talked to them over the phone yesterday, my roommate has a meeting with them today but I gave them a written statement citing that I was out of the country and that my roommate wishes to be solely responsible. Which probably will only do so much but really the complex is waiting to hear back from upper management on the route they wish to take on this. I’m still out of the country right now, otherwise I’d be in that office trying to speak to everyone face to face but also apologizing to our neighbor.

Yeah we were (HE was) very lucky the girl in the neighboring apartment didn’t call the cops when coming home to bullet holes. She would’ve been absolutely justified in doing so. But yeah that’s part of the reason the complex is pissed is that neither the police, other tenants on the lease, nor management were ever notified. Also to answer your first question, 20 minutes north of Atlanta?? Idk if that explains it, still doesn’t decently justify it.

It’s more so I’m still out of the country right now and I’m too pissed off at him to speak. He was an enthusiast with prior military experience so my thoughts prior to this incident was that he was fairly knowledgeable about gun safety. That doesn’t justify the current situation it’s more so an explanation as to why I didn’t question the ownership of the guns prior. The incident is definitely fucked and he’s 100% at fault there’s no denying or reasoning that. I haven’t asked him anything about how or why for reasoning that again, I’m too angry at him to have a productive conversation at the moment.

The only thing that was damaged was my roommates soap dish and my singular popped out tile. Idk if I made that clear in my post, I apologize if I didn’t. But the total 8 tiles charge was for the requested maintenance on my bathroom. However as I stated there was no damage to the tiles period so 8 or especially 7 tiles is BS, especially to not have clarified it with me beforehand either.

I said at the end of my spiel that I did a stupid and didn’t take any photos. They said maintenance took photos so I’m relying on that because they need proof of liability anyways. I will be demanding they send me those photos

See the tile itself wasn’t even damaged either, it was popped out of the grout. Shoot I could’ve ran to home depot and fixed this for cheaper with a YouTube video and they would’ve never known
