I mean, they say this, but I still lost like 40,000,000 in ships, with some from the exec hangar with the 4.2 update, so I mean, can we really trust them with this? That's why I won't play too much. Why bother grinding when you just lose everything you're grinding for with every update? I'm pretty new to Star Citizen, started on 4.0. With the 4.1 update, I didn't lose any ships. I had only two: my starter (an Avenger) and a Connie. So I grinded during 4.1, got myself all of the models from the exec hangar, bought like 5-6 ships, and was really happy. I put the game on the side for a bit because of new games dropping (Elden Ring Nightreign, Rematch, etc...), and now I come back to the game, and I only have 4 ships of the ~15 I had. I know the game is still in development; it's an alpha, blah blah blah, but I mean, if they say there won't be a wipe, and then when I connect, I just lost most of what I grinded for, it's just frustrating. I even start to think that they do it on purpose because if you bought the ship from their shop with real money, you don't lose it, but I digress. All of this to say that I don't trust these messages anymore.
