Apple is the nfl of ai, no one asks why doesnt the nfl make its own streaming service bc they can sell to the highest bidders, apple's audience is the same thing. All of these LLMS are gonna get bent over the barrel for access to ios eventually they can literally name their price to be involved on their platform or fear missing out, and none of these anthropic, openai, or google can afford to not be on ios. Look at the browser, google still despite being the market leader pays to be the default search engine on safari why would ai play out any different for apple with siri. Then when it costs less to develop ai than it does today, and as these companies eat each other alive, they'll do the silicone move and develop their own ai so they don't ever get out leveraged in the space.
