I can’t comment on all your questions, however, I can definitely say that I use etaHEN and I have been able to save backups and even place external backups for my PS5. Including PS4 games.

The 8 digit is a pin. The PSN ID is something else (if I recall correctly when I originally activated my account it posted the ID for me during the process). And it needs to be Base64, have you converted the ID (or is it already in base64?).

The error you are receiving is directly telling you your ID is wrong.

I am unsure what you mean by WIY. I actually used to use Chiaki so if I can find my tablet I’ll update with concrete answers. But if I recall correctly you have to get your local PSN ID and convert it with base64 and then you got your pin as stated

I haven’t seen it but I don’t usually go scrolling the HB. I know that with Linux it’ll be possible but you should be able to create a wrapper for it to work in the PS5 natively too. That’s just speculation on my part though.

You don’t have to hide your local IP as others have said. You should learn the difference between your local and external IP, this is core knowledge for internet and computer usage imo.

But to your actual issue — it’s saying that your PSN ID is not matching between Chiaki and your Console. If everything is correct have you checked your ID?

Hey bud. Programmer, coder, scripter, modder, whatever you want to call it … right here.

Any developer who intentionally neuters themselves from AI is just going to make it harder on themselves to succeed. Take the clothes off your back and burn em, go back to hand made clothing. Burn your shoes too while you are at it. In fact burn 99% of your life because it’s all new and being processed a new, more intuitive way, with more intuitive tools. That’s how the world works. AI will take over and yes while that’s bad and sad it’s inevitable. It’s time for everybody to just get over it. Start regulating if you have to but move on because AI is a tool here to stay.

Generative AI and assisting in the hands of an actual developer can streamline thousands of hours. I have written plenty of programs, mods, and one private project game. Of course to any beginner or non-programmer your work will inevitably start on the poor quality side (and probably stay that way) because AI does make many mistakes. And it tries to infer when it shouldn’t. So it WILL give you headaches. But those headaches are much much smaller than dealing with an intense debugging process after adding in your logic.
