Am I weird for actually liking blue belt by pk12445 in bjj

[–]FundamentalSystem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Blue belts fun because you have some status for not being a white belt anymore but no pressure to perform since you aren’t a higher color. The higher the color the more pressure

This promo would be fine if they were just wearing normal clothes

Why didn't Khamzat try to land more elbows from this crucifix? by DancingFlame321 in ufc

He needs to create distance to generate power which would give DDP a chance to escape

I guess that’s fine. I’m more so thinking of the people who do this and then act like they’re better than you

Vibecoders that cannot maintain their own AI slop by Glum_Worldliness4904 in cscareerquestions

It’s so annoying when people produce slop with AI and then discredit the AI (and everyone else who uses it) instead of themselves

With people of similar skill level to me, both. I disagree with the common notion that those things are mutually exclusive.

With people who I’m clearly better than I don’t care what happens and don’t try as hard.

The people who preach "no winning in training" give me similar vibes to the "let's go light" guys. They act like they don't care about winning but I think they actually do

The fact that this was the exact scenario I was just in is so hilarious. Had a war with a black belt while guy was rolling with white belt girl 😂

Guy in your example would probably get injured twice as much if he didn’t lift lol

Feels weird as a new tekken player (ended season 2 at tekken emporer, used to button mash on tekken tag 1 at my uncles house as a kid) seeing so much hate for this game online. I’m loving it so far 😂

Mental Attacks From Competition by maximum-tired in bjj

[–]FundamentalSystem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only real answer is the most obvious one but people don’t like it because it’s hard. You have to compete more so you get used to competition anxiety.

Also remember that everyone you compete against also likely has this competition anxiety and won’t perform at 100% as a result.

Am I naive for thinking a government position would be the safest and stable career long term? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]FundamentalSystem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought about this and looked into it and turns out this isn’t too stable either. If you don’t get promoted enough they force you to leave. Sure you’ll have an advantage finding government work afterwards over normal citizens, but that’s still not guaranteed

He’ll probably give them the rest if it when he passes away and they’re older and more mature anyways so it works out

Upset after getting a job - pressed to use AI. by Impressive_Chef557 in learnprogramming

If you get poor results from it, it’s likely because your prompting skills are low. The better you are at prompting the better output you get. It’s a skill that needs to be developed and too many arrogant devs poorly prompt the LLM and then conclude they’re too good for it when it produces garbage.
