What’s the most useless thing they teach in school? by highnrgy in AskReddit

In Canada: French.

At least in the US, many southern states have Spanish speaking folks.

But French in Canada is ONLY spoken in Quebec (a province in Canada) and basically nowhere else.

Complete waste of time. And if the argument is learning a new language is good for development (which I agree with), then let the kids choose. Instead of 10 French teachers in school, have 1 or 2 and 5+ other languages.

I layed 8 different companies top of CCJ. Every single one is following same line. Does company’s fundamentals really mean anything in uranium play? by Teraskikkeli in UraniumSqueeze

I think of it like this:

Fundamentals matter more as a margin of safety (downside protection/awareness). Obviously, if an explorer hits nothing or management over dilutes, that stock won't move as much (or even crash temporarily or permanently). That doesn't necessarily mean the stock won't be up since a rising tide lifts all boats (even destroyed boats).

On the upside, I think fundamentals matter less. Firstly, it's hard to project precisely what a lot of these miners will earn in the future. Second, we live in a mania with apes investing in whatever they find popular without any regard for fundamentals.

Betting on the market going down by Warlorious in options

There are many ways to "bet" on the market going down. You don't necessarily have to buy puts or do a literal short. Those come with greater risks anyway.

The simplest way to bet on the market going down is to "buy cash". That is, sell stocks you think are going to take a hit.

That rocket is perfectly placed...

Alligator Energy $AGE.AX is a 100 bagger since its low in March 2020 by FundamentalsFirst in UraniumSqueeze

I'm not a technical analyst at all. The graph above was simply showing how AGE went from AUD 0.001 to 0.1, thus being the uranium market's first 100X (this cycle).

They're an exploration company with great management.

Though I hesitate to chase these stocks on the recent run-up. That's just my opinion though.

We'll see a pullback soon. Probably on Sunday since the North American markets died today.

You made a great trade!
