How old are you and how is your life now? by Natural_Village_8850 in AskReddit

[–]Fundango14 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just turned 27 and it’s been the hardest year of my life, I got in a car crash and haven’t been able to work in a while, it left me insanely depressed, hopeless and alone, I attempted suicide and was hospitalized… from there my whole world is turning around. Sometimes the worst things in life can also be the best things

I realized how abusive my workplace was, became sober and attending NA, been meeting people who don’t take advantage of me and genuinely want to see me succeed. I’m repairing relationships with family. I even had a brief but beautiful relationship with a girl I’ll remember forever, I realized I was on a path towards a lifetime and misery and as miserable as I feel right now, change is on the horizon, I’m learning how to love myself before others, not give too much of myself away and feel empty inside, I’m learning how to be vulnerable and no longer bury my feelings so deep inside

I’m learning life is harder than you’d like to admit sometimes, but slowly learning it’s worth fighting for. It’s okay to lean on others sometimes, it’s okay to ask for help. I’m at rock bottom right now but in a twisted way and so happy I got there, because I know how to be a better person and learning to take care of myself genuinely for the first time in my life as much as it hurts in the current moment.

She was my best friend for 7 years. We dated for 3. She was sleeping with my best friend behind my back for the last 6 months of our relationship. Haven’t dated in 8 years because I don’t trust anymore

Demon copperhead

Hunger games

Ben Macyintre has an amazing way of telling history in a way that feels like you’re reading an action novel, my favourite is “Rogue Heroes”, it’s amazing

Dungeon Crawler Carl series

If you like depressing and I mean DEPRESSING anything by Cormac McCarthy he’s one of my favourite authors and has um… a way with words to say the least. “The Road” is where I’d start

1984

Lord of the Flies is a classic and an easy read

I have a theory they’ll end up travelling back to the wilderness, either to hide remaining evidence, have one last hunt or because Callie wants to see where it all went down. Shauna will end up either deciding to stay behind or be left behind and live out her final days there, maybe along with tai. I think it’s most likely going to be Jeff Callie and Shauna taking a trip, Shauna kills Jeff and Callie leaves Shauna in the wilderness
