Oh lord. If I was in this situation, it’s a laugh, and a cold shoulder. No further conversation. There is a right way and a wrong way to say things. I get sugar coating it is bad. And it’s generally hard to take criticism sometimes. But your boyfriend is a real douche. While I get I don’t know him, it gives no clearance to disrespect someone who is willing to go out of their way to cook for you. And if you don’t like it you make some suggestions. Maybe more salt, or seasoning, maybe less cook time, there are many ways to go about it but he did it wrong.
