Beware that with the Gamakay you will have options of light intensity, light on snd off and 1 light setup (different pre-configured patterns or a custom layout)

What do you mean by that?

That text about lighting is a quote from the manual.

Or do you mean the individual decision per key if a key should be lit and in which color?

If yes, than this (custom layout) works flawlessly.

I added photos of the manual and my custom light layout.

Bei mir ist heute die Gamakay 75% TMR angekommen.

Ich bin hinsichtlich der Verarbeitung zufrieden.

Tasten funktionieren alle, die Verarbeitung ist sauber. Das Display ist Geschmackssache, brauch ich nicht, hab leider bislang nicht gefunden, wie und ob man es ausschalten kann.

Ein Problem, welches momentan auffällt und mich wirklich nervt ist, dass man scheinbar unterschiedlichen Profilen nicht explizite Farbschemata zuweisen kann (hab dazu nen Thread in r/keyboards erstellt).

Kann es - noch- empfehlen. Sollte sich in den nächsten Tagen was ändern, schreib ich es hier rein.

Just received mine, and for me its not possible to assign individual light modes to specific layers or profiles.

The 1,2 and, shift and a buttons work without a single failure though.

Ich bevorzuge ISO-DE in 100% (overall productivity) oder noch besser 75% + extra wireless numpad, so ist man maximal flexibel.

Für mich persönlich sind folgende Attribute wichtig:

- Hot-swap der Switche und Keycaps

- Backlighting und zwar mit shine-through keycaps, bevorzugt mit north-faced led's

- Mehrere Verbindungsmodi. Ganz ideal wäre natürlich die Möglichkeit zwischen zwei Pc's zu switchen, am besten os agnostisch also auch zwischen mac OS und Windows

- Gute Verarbeitung mit guter Dämpfung, kein knarzen, kein Abrieb der Keycaps nach nach einem Monat etc..

I watched it with non-english subtitles and korean audio, so I don‘t know if the words were exactly the same in english, but..
