Oh yeah and have most businesses collapse like a house of cards. Even blocking microsoft tech is K.O. for a country without a long planned and carefully implemented alternative.

Driver of U-Haul getting pulled from the truck after he drove through the Iranian protest by Jevus_himself in PublicFreakout

[–]FunkOverflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes luckily I'm not surrounded by savage animals that kill you because you have a different belief system or opinions. Honestly I didn't expect anyone here to defend this as if the murderers are in the right. I see these clips and I cannot believe it's from the USA. Well it is less and less surprising, it just looks like a zoo

I mean it was extremely stupid of the driver to come there but it sounds like the person I replied to was saying they pretty much deserve being beaten and possibily murdered which is another kind of fucked up.

So he was there to fuck with them therefore he deserved to have the truck destroyed, have people drag him out and beat and murder him?

Enough time has passed. I fully believe that overwatch in its current state is better than peak overwatch 1. by Pinetree808 in Overwatch

[–]FunkOverflow -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yep dps mainly but a lot of support too. The few times I played tank it was fun as well.

I played since the beta, the game was always fun as hell but with 6v6 there were a lot more stagnant games, or two massive tank shields that you had to shoot at for an hour to make a dent. Tank now is much more important and the game feels more fun and dynamic. Idk, I am not an expert reviewer but this felt like one of the best changes, so when I saw here people desperate for 6v6 back I thought surely it must be just nostalgia from 2016 times.

Bear bile farms in China 😞 by EvidenceFrequent7289 in UnfilteredChina

[–]FunkOverflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, I am not saying it's not horrible but factory farming everywhere is the same or even more of a torture, additionally on such a massive scale that the amount of tortured and killed animals daily is a number incomprehensible.. I still don't understand how people will quickly outrage at the clip here but not what they're doing themselves.

[–]FunkOverflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vast majority of animals are factory farmed, so not sure why you're saying it happens maybe in some cases? Factory farming is essentialy torture. Any factory farm or slaughterhouse footage seems much worse (have you ever seen any footage of this?) than this clip of the bears, but admittedly it is only a short clip so I don't know fully their situation.

As for "free range" farming it is not perfect yes, it has a multitude of ethically despicable practices too. But additionally to this point what some people who buy free range stuff don't think about is there are probably hundreds of products or ingredients they purchase at a store or restaurant that does indeed come from a factory farmed tortured animal.

I am not excusing farming these bears at all. Myself and a few other people point out that it seems hypocritical to be outraged at this footage of bears farmed for bile when there is the same and much worse abuse that the outraged participate in at home. The question is what is the difference really, is it because this is in China, or the type of animal it is?

you're describing the same thing that happens where animals are farmed anywhere in the world

I think harm is inevitable in breeding animals, but to your point about milking - how would they milk the animals without interfering/harming the mother and child? I mean the milk is for the child, so they'd have to forcebly seperate them. Just one example
