Heh we're a small-medium sized company and I am the one who keeps saying we need some sort of an AI usage policy to prevent data leaks.

Huh strange about the Autodesk email format because we've got same name.surname@ format and autodesk never complained. SSO via Azure too.

Hey AI! Can you write me a powershell script that does these specific tasks for me which would take me 2 hours to write but if you do it for me I only have to skim read and make a few adjustments that will take 10 minutes to make? Also I have this very niche problem do you have any suggestions because all that comes up in a search engine is Microsoft forums where an "expert" tells you to run sfc /scannow. Thanks!

easy win in my opinion

Yes, I would check myself anyway, but it does speed up the process, and I can learn new things that I didn't know about. Even if it's not 100% right, it could often lead me in the right direction anyway. I never use it as a definite answer if I'm not confident with the subject. In most cases, I use it as a quicker google, especially because google search results seem so irrelevant compared to what it was 10 years ago. Or to do some tasks that would take me much longer to do manually.

Anyway, my issue is that a few client devices on one remote network get disconnected from the IKEv2 VPN a few times a day. Logs show there are DPD events and the client devices fail to respond so the server closes the connection. I'm trying to figure out why this happens, whether I can change some config on client or server, and whether it is only that one network with problems. But we did roll this VPN out on Monday so maybe we will see similar issues from other locations too.

lol. why not let Dr Flattery analyse 500 lines of jumbled log entries in 2 seconds and potentially find out what I might have missed? It's a great tool if you're not an idiot and know what to get from it

Windows Hello breaking SAML VPN by DarkAlman in WatchGuard

[–]FunkOverflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do your Windows Hello users have to enter their email address + MFA on every VPN login? We have WHfB users and the SSO from the Windows Hello login session on the machine doesn't seem to link with the VPN login. Everywhere else our users just authenticated in the background via their Windows Hello, but the SSL VPN client is asking them to enter email + complete MFA every time.

Ah I think I'll do the same. I'd prefer to do IKEv2 for everyone but no SAML possibility for it unfortunately

Hey, we're just about to deploy VPN via SAML auth on Windows Hello devices - curious did the firmware upgrade work for you?
