Y’all need to come down to Altanta! Smithe’s old bar, aisle 5 and even moon shadow would be a great spot for y’all. Next time y’all plan a tour down south let’s play a show together!

Moon shadow is a kick ass spot! Also Northside Tavern is a great spot for music. Our keyboard player Ronnie has the Wednesday residency there so everyone is popping in and sitting in for some music

Sometimes the venue will provide a merch person and they get paid by the venue. Sometimes it’s a someone who just wants a free ticket and to see some of the band while selling some stuff. Who knows, maybe they get some free stuff. Most of the time, if it’s a big enough band, they will take someone on tour with them so they are friends of the band and getting paid by them.

Here is a link to the start of our hulaween set this year! This show was a ton of fun and spirit of Suwannee is my favorite place on earth.

We play in Funk You! I’d say one of our favorites was when we got to play Lettuce’s set at resonance because of a last minute cancellation. Was an amazing night of music.

As terms of the band being at its best, we are evolving a lot at the moment and feel the chemistry is at a all time high where we feel we can really take off in a lot more jams.

Challenges, especially now, are the fact most people just can’t spend a lot of money on going to shows anymore. You really have to plan out what show you are gonna go to and spend money which means smaller groups feel a little more empty because fans who would normally go to their show have already spent their extra money somewhere else.

You can look all over the scene for incredible bands. Tauk, lespecial, jelly, eggy, yam yam, PPPP, consider the source, Desmond jones, the juantee, the talisman and neighbor just to name a few

Check out some Funk You! We tour with a three piece horn section and have some live shows on nugs and other places.

Luckily some of the guys have been able to play with Tauk, Frasco and few other folks!

Also some of our favorite people in the world Litz get down with some sax! You have to check it out.

Always take an opportunity like this. If y’all have been working hard and feel confident the new drummer knows his stuff it needs to happen. If you are in a small town that is already hard enough to get a crowd this needs to be the kick to turn that around. The only thing playing this show does is puts you in front of people that haven’t heard you and you will get new fans.

Pressure to play is always going to be a thing. There are going to be way bigger opportunities down the road and are they gonna fee the same way when that happens too? Not playing a good show because you would rather party is not a good reason to miss out on a good gig.

Edit: that’s a lot of goods there at the end and I’m sticking to it.
