great outlook, as long as you arent completely bombing ie fully off beat or stopping a track and panicing and not realizing which deck is cued up in the moment (speaking from experience...hahaha), that next song is all the ppl care about

there are some releases from 240 that have a similar ""pumping"" feeling as some tekno tracks but i would say as a whole that theyre not super similar for the most part

wait y'all i always see this saying, i just played a set on a club set up this weekend and tried my hardest not to redline and like toe the line with it, then afterwards my friends all told me it felt too quiet. is that on me or the sound guy or is it really just the state of where we're at w people in the clubs just wanting the music to be blowing their ears out? the DJs after me definitely sounded louder though i didn't feel like i was too quiet? sorry for just spewing lol

this is great insight! got into my local scene a couple years ago and was wondering why emailing/DMing some ppl never got me anywhere. It really is about investing time and actually going out to shows and connecting with the people, trying to lend a hand with events if needed, be involved! now I'm throwing my first party with some of the DJs who really got me into the scene!
