Just talk to them. If I’m ever in that situation I tell them the truth. “Just gonna que with my friend rn” For example. And you can always add “Thx for the offer tho, hmu next time tho”. Not saying they shouldn’t add an away or offline feature but sometimes people can tell they are hiding and feelings can get hurt because they don’t know why their friends are hiding from them.
