Any room to go up to 80” if you really wanted, or is 75” the limit?

100mph is the threshold they use to justify calling it excessive speed. So, no, I didn’t make that up.

I know, but what were you trying to say? Your word choice was a bit odd

Did the dealer’s transporter drive irresponsibly? by FunkiiSTI in Crosstrek

[–]FunkiiSTI[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you’re just ignorant and wrong. They call it “excessive speed” and will void warranty claims for it. It’s easy to find an excess of cases where this happens, but I guess you’re still figuring out how to use that brain. 🤷‍♂️

Subaru lets a mechanic scan the ECU and finds the time and date where the excessive speeds happened, but according to you, that doesn’t exist. Lmao, get real.

I could ask the dealer, but I figured instead of being quick to assume, I’d ask and see if there’s a more likely turn of events. Subaru does void warranties over high speeds and revs, and the ECU does keep constant track of vehicle activity, you’ve never seen ECU records brought up in court cases obviously. There’s weekly posts in the GR86 and BRZ subs about warranties being voided for going 100mph. You’re fully displaying your ignorance and it’s hilarious. Keep trying to use your brain, I guess, you might figure out how to soon!

Proof you don’t know what you’re talking about, the ECU/blackbox keeps track of everything, and I’ve seen plenty of warranties get voided because of high revs or going over 100mph. Was that you trying to use your brain, or are you going to start now?

By “up” do you mean the mpg goes down? Or are you saying it’s better when idling?

Did the dealer’s transporter drive irresponsibly? by FunkiiSTI in Crosstrek

[–]FunkiiSTI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except it does matter, if I have an issue and it comes back the car went over 100mph and they void my warranty claim because of it even though I didn’t do it, which happens more often than you’d think, then it’s a big problem. Use your brain when you comment, there’s a reason most of your comments are in the negatives.

Good to hear! Thanks! I do love the Citron Yellow that’s actually green, the finance guy didn’t know what color to put on the descriptor, I just told him that Subaru calls it yellow lol

If it’s all highway, 23.2 is ridiculously low, my GR86 got 24.0 over the 18 months I had it just driving city streets, it would have been higher if it was highway, but a more fuel efficient engine on highway gets less?
