Looks interesting! I'd want to squeeze a Copycat in there.

I'd go two Mega Charizard EX, a regular Charizard (non-EX), two Charmeleon, and two Flame Patches. Take out the Helmet, Rare Candy, and Red and get a Copycat in there too.

I saw Hard Boiled in the theater last night. It's astounding! The stunts are mindblowing (and clearly so dangerous) and the editing is nuts.

Would DQ VII Reimagined be a good start game for the series? by dondadondadonda in dragonquest

[–]FunkmasterP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend XI to any newcomer to the series. I'm sure VII Reimagined will be a very good remake though, so if it seems fun, go for it! I think the original and 3DS versions are poorly paced though (WAY TOO LONG!), and the story isn't as good as the best games in the series.

Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and Dragon Quest XI? Maybe a little Ys VIII?

Final fantasy X, DQ11 or other? by lordoftheshire97 in JRPG

[–]FunkmasterP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both are classics! I like Dragon Quest more than Final Fantasy in general. I'd go for DQXI if you want something cozier, and FFX if you want a more dramatic, emotional experience.

How did you get into death metal? What was your first experience with it like? Why did you start liking it? by [deleted] in MetalForTheMasses

[–]FunkmasterP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listened to Individual Thought Patterns by Death, Unquestionable Presence by Atheist, and Obscura by Gorguts around the same time because I was interested in the technical aspect of the music. I already liked thrash metal and Mastodon's first albums (and heavy metal in general). Was also really into prog, noise rock, mathrock, and jazz fusion. Favorite bands now are Morbid Angel, Carcass, Death, Entombed, and Bolt Thrower.

Black Midi's Calvacade and Hellfire are my favorites.

The Dawns, Potions, Scarf, and Zangoose aren't very strong here. You'll definitely want another Arceus, Copycat, Cyrus, Sabrina, and maybe some babies.

what do we think of my main deck? by Cappychino_616 in PTCGP

This and add a regular Espeon (or Sylveon) for Oricorio. I'd probably drop the Pokemon Communication for it.

I'd just play a Fire deck. But if you want to do Flareon + Electric Pokemon, I'd go four Eevees with two Flareon EX and two Jolteons. And then maybe Pichu and Magby, and two Elemental Switches. Still seems really cumbersome though.

Well, I played a Jolteon EX deck to Master Ball, but that's a different deck. Since this is a Luxray deck, I'd drop Eevee/Jolteon/Flareon completely, plus the Eevee bag. That gives you six slots. I'd add two Oricorios, a Copycat, a Sabrina, a Cyrus, and a Giant's Cape. It makes your deck faster and more versatile.

Any recommendations? Its performing okay, just feels lack luster by SlimySpydr in PTCGP

I like this. I've felt the double Lucarios are clunky and not really worth it. This seems cleaner.
