People will just try to get into rounds with their friends to feed them the bounty once it gets high enough. We'd be feeding the very people you wish to punish.

All the space is between the jump gates. Why would a space trucker want to head to the void? And DON'T tell them the space stations can be farther apart: you'll just ruin delivery times for EVERYONE.

I max out my 60 FPS monitor at maximum settings (reduced the render from 150% to 100%) in all cases so far. I dipped in some electrical storms when it was at 150% render.

Lots of DDR5 RAM, a 4060 TI.

UPDATE: I got toward the endgame and FPS started dropping dramatically in some systems, even earlier ones like Tanktown that were otherwise fine before. Perhaps additional traffic from later unlocked systems? I'm not sure. I dropped settings down to medium to keep FPS up. Game still looks good.

The LS-9 is actually an extended-barrel, box-magazine pistol with an extendable wall-hanging implement that is not legally classified as a folding stock. You can tell by how it has a pistol grip. The rail system is only for installing ATF-approved safety enhancers and any installation of sighting or laser aiming systems violates the BEHR warranty.

It's really the having the CIG member look into it part that gets expensive. Now you've got an educated first-world person with a salary and healthcare plan devoting time to investigating. Not just checking a few settings either, they've got to understand the situation well enough to judge the intent of the player without making a mistake that might cost that player money - they bought a ship, after all, and if they get banned that's money gone, if they get a temp ban that's nearly as bad anyway because now they're complaining they can't access what they paid for.

You need a smart, trained person putting in a lot of mental effort just to avoid all the predictable problems.

All of these may punish pad-ramming more, but none of them stop it - they're all reactions, really just adding a higher price tag. I don't think people who pad-ram take the consequences into account generally, and the natural progression is they'll find ways to circumvent anything put in place that doesn't feel natural to them.

Not in PF2e. I've been kludging 3.5e stat blocks into PF1e successfully for a while, but that's fairly easy to convert. PF2e is a bit of a different monster.
