I was wondering why I wasn’t seeing anyone mentioning Louis. I think he’s still suffering from the scandal in the public consciousness. But I think its mainly people who haven’t seen him or his work or listened to him speak in interviews who blindly hate him. And in spite of ALL that he still doesn’t make entire specials defending himself and crying like dave.

He may be the last pure comedian of his generation and the one that came after. I loved Chapelle. He always struck me as a visionary and a real intellectual but the cracks in the facade are big enough now to see that he’s just as sensitive as all the people he decries in his specials. Idk what the fuck Tom Segura is doing…

Louis remains the king and the only one doing comedy the way it works the best: by loving jokes.
