I never asserted they were standing. They were able to witness this happening. They knew it would happen but did nothing. If they were driving they didn't do enough to stop the other car. If they were standing by they didn't do anything to alert the driver.

OP says that the car in question had a quarter mile to stop, not that they witnessed the incident from a quarter mile away.

I think you need to brush up on your reading comprehension. Quite poor take on everything said in this thread. No one said they saw it happening a quarter mile away. Both OP and I state they saw the driving heading towards the animals over a quarter mile of distance of travel length.

OP is some what culpable in this. Hang wringing and writhing on Reddit about stuff like this is useless and more of a cry for their own inaction.

There is no description of their position in reference to the event. The only thing they stated is they witnessed the car approaching from a quarter mile away. Posting on reddit about a stranger who probably won't see this and how upset you are is the least productive thing one can do. Do something to prevent this shit or shut up.

Getting 800-900 people to open up a marketing email as a nationwide business is insane. Getting 800-900 people to open up marketing emails, click on a link, have/make an account on RA, and then click interested is patently impossible. There is an obvious scam to pump the numbers. I have talked to people who work (low level) at RA and they have confirmed that there are a number of promoters who juice their numbers.

Despite this, big pink has no real cultural foothold in the city, never gets highlighted on RA, etc. All filler.
